Certified Educator and NALA Accredited Lash Artist

What inspired you to become an educator?

I went to cosmetology school to become a lash artist, it was my dream! After I got my license I worked for a studio for 5 years and became their trainer in 3 years time. I fell in love with educating fellow cosmetologists and estheticians to become lash artists. I finally had the opportunity to go off on my own after having my daughter. She is my reason for starting Zombie Lash Academy.

Tell us about your academy!

I am located in Farmingdale, New York. I have been teaching for almost 4 years now. I specialize in lash mapping and hybrid sets.

What do you find most rewarding about being a lash educator?

The thing that I find most rewarding as an educator is seeing my students succeed!

What obstacles did you have to overcome on your journey to become an educator?

I worked in a lash studio for several years and became their trainer. I was limited in what I was able to teach and was only allowed to teach their desired curriculum. I felt like it wasn’t enough education. I designed and created my own training course that is extensive, detailed and covers a variety of topics related to the lash industry to help my students to become the best lash artist and to leave my students confident to begin their journey.

Why did you enroll in NALA’s Educator Training and Certification?

I enrolled in NALA’s Educator Training to better myself and become a part of an incredible lash community that continues to educate me to be the best I can be as an educator.

Investing in NALA’s program was the best decision I have made. The training was great, I learned a few techniques for being able to train anyone based on their learning styles and how to identify them. The course as a whole was very informative, fun and left me confident with my future training.

Tell us about your upcoming plans?

I am currently updating my manual and training presentation to have more up to date information in the lash industry. I will be launching my training courses in January and I am so excited!

I love being a part of such an inspirational community of lash educators and artists. I am excited to share my newly innovative 5 day in person lash course with everyone soon!
